Sending Warm Hugs

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a winter /coffee themed card I created recently.

I just received an order today which contained the fun MFT Stamps Sweater Weather stamps sets ... there are two sets one called Sweater Weather In The Woods & the other Sweater Weather On Safari. I knew I wanted the Safari set, but hmmed and ahhed about the woods set ... as you can see I ended up getting both and the first one I ended up using was the Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp set. Go figure!

I also received the new Mama Elephant Winter Trees Cover which was released in September so I decided to make a card using both of these products.

To created the sky background panel, I used blender brushes to apply Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans. I then splattered white paint over the background to resemble snow.

I die cut the Winter Trees Cover three times and layered them together for some added texture.

To finish off the card I added the four critters and the sentiment.

For the inside of the card I added a large paint splatter which is stamped using MFT Stamps Abstract Art stamp set, this is an older set which has long been retired.

I added the birthday sentiment which is from the Sweater Weather On Safari stamp set.

I added the cute little fox and three coffee mugs (one the fox is holding).
