Hi Crafty Friends,

Earlier in the month I shared a Box Front card I created inspired by a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire, you can see that tutorial here. Today I am sharing a Chess themed card which uses the same technique.

I used the Harlequin 3D Embossing Folder, Harlequin Layered Stencil & black ink to create the chess board which I added to the front & the two narrower panels which are revealed as the card is opened.

The chess pieces were created using Spellbinders Chess & Checkers die set. I added sentiments using the Well Played Sentiments stamp set.

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am back today with another card I created using products from the Weekender 2026 kit. This card wasn't part of the weekend classes, but one of the teachers shared it prior to the weekend and I just had to CASE it as I loved it so much.

This is inspired by Jennifer McGuire using mostly the Bird of Paradise die set.

This card is called a Box Front Card and I love the look of it, I probably will make more of this style in the future. I did add the embossing to the background to give it a different look.
