Bear Shaped Baby Cards

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our new challenge hostess which is Kelly Santi.

Apparently Monday was Fun Facts about Your Name Day.  What does your name mean? Briefly research the meaning of your name and create a card.  If you can’t find your name directly, create a card based on a few letter IN your name … i.e., K = Kite, E = Enamel Dots, L = Lavender.

Last week I shared a Panda Shaped Card using the Sizzix Panda Fold Along Card, while making this card I thought that it would be fun to use this die set to create baby cards.
For the challenge today I decided to use the initials of my name to create my card. So seeing my name is Frances Byrne I used the letters F & B.
F - Fold-A-Long Die .... this card was created using the Sizzix Panda Fold-A-Long die set.
B - Baby, Bear, Blue, Boy

For the inside of the card I used the A Way With Words - Welcome Little One Clear Stamp set for sentiments.

Here is another look at the card when it is opened.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Sending Some Hugs Your Way

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a shaped card to share with you.

For my card I used the Sizzix Panda Fold-A-Long card ... isn't it so cute. I think this may be one of my favorite fold-a-long die sets to date.

For the inside of the card I white embossed the sentiment from Waffle Flower Crafts Group Hugs stamp set onto black cardstock.

Here is another view of my card when it is opened.

And one last photo of my card this time folded flat laying on my desk ready to be placed in an envelope.

Donut Worry

Hi Crafty Friends,

Apparently today is "Donut Day" so as you can see by the photo above I decided to create a donut card.

I recently purchased this fun Sizzix Donut Fold-A-Long die set and this was the perfect opportunity to pull it out and play with it.

I die cut the Donut Fold-A-Long card from white cardstock. I die cut two additional white half circles for the front and colored them with copic markers.

For the icing I die cut two different shades of pink cardstock, layered the two pieces together and adhered to the front of the card. For the sprinkles I added four different colors.

For the sentiment on the front of the card, I combined the "Donut" sentiment from the Fold-A-Long die set and the "Worry" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know Clear Stamp set.

For the centre circle when the card is open I added a sentiment and sprinkles from the Honey Bee Stamps Donut Worry Clear Stamp set.

Here is a look at my card when it is full open.

One last photo of my card when it is lying flat on my desk, closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

Looking Sharp

Happy New Year Crafty Friends,

I hope 2018 brings you everything you wish for and more!!!!

I recently purchased a new Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine which was on special and to get free postage I had to spend another $11 so I went looking at the dies and found this fun Sizzix Cactus Fold-A-Long Thinlits die set which was on special. As I had been thinking about this die set for some time, I popped it into my cart along with one more die 😀.

Shhhh don't tell anyone, but I unboxed the die cutting machine and tested it on this card and then packed it up again so it could go under the tree hehe as my other two machines were making a mess of it.

When you pull the card open it reveals an accordion card with a smaller cacti in the centre. I love those sunnies and that sentiment, which will come in handy for my other cacti stamps/die I have.

Paper: White; Green; Pink; Black; Brown; DP - SU
