What’s The Scoop?

MFT Flopsy TwoScoops wm

Hi everyone,

It’s day 2 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 1st May.

Today the Design Team are featuring 2 stamps sets. I am sharing with you a card I created using the Two Scoops for Flopsey stamp set.  I just love this new Flopsey set!

I used the Die-namics Designer Labels 1 Stax for the layers for the Flopsey image. To get the pink layer I die cut the same size as the white layer and then cut it in half and layered it top and bottom.  I then cut small strips to go on each side of the layer.

I have also used the Die-namics Mini Scallop Edge which is along the left side of my card. For the sentiment I used Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon. I have also used MFT Stamps Grosgrain Ribbon Orange Fizz for the ribbon.

It’s also challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Cindy Haffner finishes off the month with a Recipe challenge. We had to include Scallops, Flowers and Buttons.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped Flopsey again on my card and also a sentiment from the set. I have also added the Die-namics Squiggle Border along the edge of the designer paper.

Oh - I do see those sweet tiny scallops. I thought at first you were counting the scalloped button ;-). I LOVE Flopsy - can never decide whether I prefer him or Fred Bear. Fabulous bow, and that icecream looks good enough to eat - even on a cold, wet day.

I love the vibrant complimentary colored mats, cut with exact precision (I imagine they're not all die-cuts) & layered one on top of another; And of course, once again, that gorgeous double bow of yours!
