Hi everyone,
It’s day 4 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 16th October.
Today the Design Team are featuring the Thankful Leaves Stamp Set.
I used the Thankful Leaves stamp set for my card today which uses the modern grid technique. The leaves and the veins of the leaves are two separate stamps which allows you to use a darker color ink for the veins after you have stamped the leaves. I stamped the leaves using various inkpads randomly onto Sweet Tooth cardstock and then used a thin black marker to draw lines across the card stopping at each leaf. I also die cut a couple of leaves using the new Die-namics Fall Leaves die and attached them over the leaves on the left side of my card. I added a sentiment also included in the stamp set and the Die-namics Accent It Flags and Tags die. The base of the card uses Orange Fizz cardstock.
For the inside of my card I stamped a couple of the leaves again at the top of the card and then used the Die-namics High Rise Alphabet Uppercase to create the word THANKS along the bottom of the card.
