Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Jessie Rone.
For our challenge this week Andrea has challenged us to use Paper Piecing on our card/project.
Now of course I paper piece all the time but for some reason I had a hard time trying to decide what stamp set to use to create my card this week so it could be paper pieced. Maybe it was because I had some new stamps all trying to get used this week and most of them didn’t suit paper piecing … sigh! In the end I decided to play with this cute stamp set from There She Goes … which I have wanted forever and never got around to ordering until a few weeks ago. As you can see I have paper pieced the Alien and the Space boy using designer papers.
I have to say that it felt really strange not making a pop up card for my card today, this is the first ‘normal’ card I have created in a couple of weeks haha. I think I will have to pull this out again in a little while and create a pop up … it’s calling .
Here is the inside of my card. I stamped up a space scene as you can seeing stamping everything in black and to help the sentiment stand out I stamped that in red.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
