Welcome Baby Girl

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two more projects using some of the new Divinity Designs products from the July Release.

This month Divinity Designs released stamps, dies and papers for a baby theme, so I am taking this opportunity to build up my stash a little bit.

For my card, I started by die cutting the new Chevron Background die for three different papers from Divinity Designs Baby Girl Paper Pad. I then adhered these piece onto another piece of cardstock so that I could paper piece all the chevron pieces back into the die cut frame.

For the sentiment on the card I used the Bless This Baby Stamp/Die combo, this contains the word "Baby" as a large die and then various single word/line sentiments to add to it. For these stamped sentiments I stamped onto pink paper and then die cut using the Sentiment Strips die which contains various sized dies suitable to die cut this sentiments in this set.

The sentiment was layered onto oval panels using the Ovals and Scalloped Ovals die sets.

Along the top left corner of my card I used the Baby Clothesline Stamp/Die Combo set to add the clothesline full of baby clothes.

For the inside of my card I added two of the sentiments from the Bless This Baby Stamp/Die combo set and added the chevrons from the Chevron Background die on either side of the sentiment.

To finish off the inside of the card I added a baby jumpsuit.

I also created a Candy Holder using the Candy Carrier die set, using similar colors of papers/cardstock as I used for the card.

I added another chevron piece, which was left over from creating the card. I die cut the tag which is also included in this die set and added a sentiment from the Baby Clothesline Stamp/Die Combo set.

Here is one more  view of my Candy Carrier taken at a different angle.
