Time!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our July challenge hostess, Sabrina Friel is back this week with another fun challenge for us.

Collage stamping: use at least 4 different stamps to create a collage panel for your card: SCS tutorials here and here, and the write-up in WT331 is actually what got Sabrina over her fear of collage stamping.

For my card today I went with a time theme using a variety of different time themed stamps that I have had in my stash for years … sorry most I can’t remember where they are from I have had them that long and being unmounted don’t have names on them. I added the cool watch face to the centre of the stop watch the hand is holding which I picked up recently from Stamp in Style at a recent paper crafts show.

Here is the inside of my card … I added a sentiment and a few more clock related images (cogs are inside watches).

Dress Form!

I have two more collage style cards to share with you all today using stamps from Stamp in Style. The first one is a large all in one collage stamp, I just stamped it in black and added my color and beads and viola my card is done!

 

My second card the background stamp is one stamp, but all the pieces on the main panel are all separate stamps which I added after I stamped the black frame.

Images are stamped using brown ink, and then used a sponging block to add color to my white card.

Wisdom Begins in Wonder!

Hi all,

Look no designer paper LOL! Yes it has been ages since I have created a card without designer paper, I love using it!!!!!

My card today is a collage style card! Something else I haven’t done in a long time!

The stamps used on this are by an Australian company called Stamp in Style where I have been working all weekend at a local Papercrafts show. Basically everything is stamped in black and then added brown inks using sponging blocks.

The Papercrafts show runs from Saturday til Monday afternoon, so you still have time to come visit. If you are coming I would for you to drop on by the Stamp In Style stand where I will be demoing a variety of techniques.
