Dino Mite!

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing another card using a new (to me) style of construction card which I found recently on Splitcoast Stampers. This is called a Pinwheel Fun Card, you can find the tutorial here

For this card I decorated it using the Dino Friends stamp set from Woodware Stamps.

Here is the inside of my card, I used my MISTI again to stamp everything on the inside, this made it really easy to line up the footprints evenly. The sentiment is from another dinosaur stamp set I own.

Stamps: Dino Friends - Woodware Stamps; Dino Mite - Our Craft Lounge
Paper: White; Brown; Dinosaur Footprints DP - Echo Park
Other: Black Ink; Brown Ink; MISTI; Score Board; Foam Tape; Copics

Have A Dog-Gone Good Birthday!

CCEE1344-Dogs-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog.  Anne Harmon our challenge hostess for October finishes off the month with another fun challenge.

In honor of Adopt A Shelter Dog Month, our challenge this week is to make a card with a dog theme.

For my card today I used Papertrey Ink’s Instant Photo Pull Out die to create my card. The dog and dog house are from Our Craft Lounge.

Take Two Peanuts!

CCEE1143-Peanut-wm

Hi all!

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Shirley Quarry, brings us her last challenge for the month

This week Shirley challenge us to create a funny get well card.

I decided to use this cute elephant from Our Craft Lounge for my card … I think it looks kind of humorous right!!!! I paper pieced the elephant using grey & blue designer papers … I think this poor elephant looks sick with all those white and blue spots hehe … hope it isn’t catching!

I also used a recent sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches (SSSC138), I love doing Karen’s sketches and this one was a fun sketch and would be ideal to use up any scrap pieces of card/designer papers, although mine weren’t scraps.

Here is the inside of my card. I added the peanut border to the top and bottom of my card and also the get well sentiment from the OCL set.

Ginormous Birthday

C4C-Dinomite-wm

Hi all,

It’s Saturday which means it is time for another challenge with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

This week our challenge hostess for the month, Mercy Kerin has given us another fun challenge which is a color challenge. The colors we had to use are:

Our sponsor for the past two weeks is Stamp N Plus Scrap N so I decided to use their large Dinosaur stamp. To keep with the challenge I decided to make my dinosaur a girl …. light pink and light purple and added green to the base of my card and the ribbon.

The layout of my card uses a recent Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC76). I love Mercy’s sketches :)

True Friendship!

C4C5-True-Friendship-wm

Hi everyone

It’s time for another challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge blog. The response to our challenges have been amazing thank you everyone who has participated in our challenges each week.

As it is a new month, it means we also have a new challenge hostess which is Vicki Griffiths. Vicki challenged us this week to get “Sew Happy”, we could using machine stitching, hand or faux stitching.

I used Our Craft Lounge’s “Mice Friends” to create my card for this challenge, I just love the little mouse in the flower. I also used this week’s sketch from Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC41. I used my machine to add stitching to 3 panels of my card.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the C4C Designers cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.
