Fresh Packed Birthday Cheer

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Mini Slimline card using products from Spellbinders April 2026 All Clubs Crate.

The pansies, pot & zigzag panel are all from the Pansy Seed Co. die set. I layered this onto a Mini Slimline card, embossing the blue panel with the Market Weave Embossing Folder.

I added a sentiment using the Fresh Packed Sentiment stamp & die set.

For the inside of the card, I added another pansy & zigzag panel,

I added two sentiments, the second being from the Ears to Spring stamp set.

Mum Celebrate You

Hi Crafty Friends,

Yesterday was Mother’s Day down here in Australia, so today I am sharing a Mother’s Day card I created recently.

For this card I used Concord & 9th’s Handpicked die set, this set includes dies to enable you to die cut the edge of the design if you wish to.

For the inside panel I added a piece of Waterfall cardstock that I die cut using Trinity Stamps A7 Diamond Eyelet Background.

I added two sets of Betterpress plates to add the sentiments on the inside & added another flower from the die set.

Flower Shaker Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing another card using products from Spellbinders Just Add Cake Card Kit.

This time round I created a shaker card using the Garden Party die set and the shaker domes which are designed to fit in the centre of the large flower.

The sentiment is also from the sentiment set also included in the set.

I added a bee to the top left corner of the card. This is on a tiny spinner, so the bee spins around

For the inside of the card I added a few flowers along the bottom of the card. I also added a couple more sentiments.

Poppy Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two 5 x 7 birthday cards using Spellbinders Poppy Background Betterpress Plate.

I used the Betterpress plate to black foil the image. I then used the coordinating stencils to add colour to the poppies. For this card I used red inks to get the red poppies.

I added a die cut sentiment which is from Papertrey Ink.

This card is done the same as the one above, however I added the inks with a lighter hand and without reinking to get the pink poppies.

I used the Woven 3D Enbossing Folder to add the texture to the base of my card.

For the inside of my card I used Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday Sentiment set to add the birthday greeting.

Black & White Birthday Wishes

iHi Crafty Friends,

Last week I shared two cards I created using a foiled Betterpress image. For my card today I am using the same image, but this image is the negative image that you can get by using the left over used foil and a solid plate.

This Betterpress plate is called Sweet Memories and was one of the monthly plates from the Betterpress Society.

For my card I created a Trifold card using the 5 x 7 Trifold Showstopper die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

Here is a look at the back of the card. I added a sentiment onto the white panel.

Day In Full Bloom

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a foiled Trifold Card using products from Spellbinders.

For the front of the card I used Spellbinders Friendship Grows Betterpress set which was the Betterpress Society set from November 2025. I used the included border die to cut the border along the floral image on the right side of the panel. I used black foil on the floral image.

I used the Shady Leaves 3D Embossing Folder on the orange panel, adding white ink to the raised areas.

For the middle panel I added the sentiment using an older sentiment from Made To Surprise. The oval layers uses the Essential Stylish Ovals die set.

It's Your Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a floral card using Concord & 9th’s Scalloped Petals die set that I received for my birthday last month.

This die suits a card that is 4 1/4 inch wide card as that is the width of the flower. As I like larger cards than standard A2 size, I kept it 4 1/4 inches but made the height about 6 1/2 inches. This allowed me to add the grass along the bottom of the card.

I used Kristina Werner’s Big Day Birthday stamp set to add the birthday sentiment to the flower.

For the inside, I added another flower to the top of my card and added a sentiment using the Scalloped Petals stamp set.

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using stamps & dies from Made To Surprise by Sam  Calcott.

I used the Large Daffodil Stamp/Die set from Blooming Wonderful Collection which was released in February.

I pulled the Curved Lattice die from the Curves & Squares Lace Folding Die set from the Creative Cuts Collection to add lattice effect along the side.

I added panels to both sides of the inside of the card adding sentiments from a couple of the flower stamp sets in this collection and more daffodils.

Another Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a floral birthday card using products from two recent releases from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

For this card I used the tulips from the Large Tulips stamp/die set and the Diamond Showstopper die set.

I added a sentiment to the card using the Large Crocues stamp/die set.

There isn’t much room to add layers on the back, so I added white panels to the centre squares. One with a sentiment and one blank to write a personal message.
