Black, White and Red

Stampendous Wagon Kiddo wm

Hi everyone,

I have another Clean and Simple card to share with you today which was inspired by the class I did recently called Clean and Simple Card Making 2 at Online Card Classes.

The image I used for my card is Stampendous Wagon Kiddo stamps … such a cutie don’t you think.

I stamped the image onto black card using versamark ink and then white embossed it. I added a sentiment onto a strip of red card and white embossed that also.

Stamps: Wagon Kiddo – Stampendous; Hello Sentiment – Hero Arts; LJD On The Line – MFT Stamps
Paper: Sweet Tooth (MFT); Black Licorice (MFT); Red Hot (MFT)
Other: Versamark Ink; White Embossing Powder; Sweet Tooth Button (MFT) Red Twine;

Yee-Haw Cowboy

CCEE1308 Western wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week I am continuing to issue the challenge.

'C' is for CCEE, challenge and what else?? How many things beginning with this letter can you use to create a card. Think colors, images, embellishments, or styles of card.

For my card I decided to use MFT Stamps à la modes Cowboy at Heart and LJD Howdy to create a Centre Step Card. You can find my tutorial on how to create a Center Step Card over in the tutorial section of Splitcoast Stampers.

To cover the C is for CCEE part of the challenge I have used the following ‘C’ Words:

Cowboy; Centre Step Card; Cardstock; Curves; Clouds; Cactus; Cord; Circles; Copics

To decorate my card I used the following Die-namics:

Here is the inside of my card. I used the Die-namics Snow Drifts along the bottom of my card and I added the sentiment using the LJD Howdy stamp set and Die-namics LJD Howdy Frames set.

As “C” stands for Cactus as well I wanted to add a Cactus to my card, as I don’t have a Cactus die I decided to CASE the awesome Cactus that Barb Anders created recently for her card she posted here. (Thanks Barb).

Here are the MFT products I used on my card today:

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Hi everyone,
It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. It’s another fun sketch!

GetSketchy_DesignTeamblinkie

For my card today I used three of MFT Stamps western theme stamp sets recently released, these are Inspired by the Wild Wild West; LJD Howdy and Western Sentiments which is this months Triple Scoop set.

Along the bottom of my card I used the Die-namics Western Star Border Duo and for the sentiment I used Die-namics LJD Howdy Frames and the woodgrain background from the LJD Howdy stamp set. I have used Hot Fudge card and Kraft card.

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2013.
