Fresh From The Garden!

MFT-FreshGarden-wm

Hi again,

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today. If you missed my previous post from today which was this month’s MFT sketch challenge scroll down after you have finished here to see yet another MFTeaser.

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring 3 more of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party tonight, over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. The sets featured today include “Who’s That Gardening Girl”; “Green Thumb Mini” and also “Clearly Sentimental About Gardens” which is the Triple Scoop set for July.

For my first card I used all three of the featured sets. The main image is from “Who’s That Gardening Girl”, this is a perfect set for all those family and friends who love gardening! Whether it is vegie gardening or flowers this set caters for both! The sentiment used on the front is from the “Green Thumb Mini” stamp set.

This time round I decided to use one of the vegetable stamps to place inside the garden, we are growing tomatoes today! I paper pieced the girls shirt using the same designer paper I used for the base of my card. I also used the MFT Die-namics Sunshine Die (love this die!) to create my sun shining down on Gardening Girl.

Underneath the image I added some of the Crochet Ribbon Collection. I actually used my copic airbrush to change the color to brown to match my card.

On the inside of my card I used a sentiment from “Clearly Sentimental About Gardens”. I also used two of MFT’s Die-namic Dies …. the Cloud Trio Die and the Grass Die.

My second card today uses the new MFT Stamps “Clearly Sentimental About Gardens” … this fun set contains 8 sentiments all related to gardening.

DieNamicsRolledFlower

My flowers are created using the new MFT Die-namics Rolled Flower Die using blue felt from the My Favorite Felt Earth Girl Pack. These are so easy to create!!!!!!! I added a couple of punched leaves under the flowers. Kim has posted a video on how to create these flowers using the die-namics rolled flower die here.

And here is the inside of my card using another of the sentiments included in the “Clearly Sentimental About Gardening” stamp set. I also used MFT Die-namics Ric Rac Die & Die-namics Ribbon RE:Creations Grosgrain Texture Board to create the ric rac ribbon look in the centre of the panel.
