Is It A Girl or A Boy!

Hi everyone,

A very good friend of mine has a daughter who is having a baby this year. My friend will be a Grandma for the very first time … just like me! She pips me at the post by a couple of months!

Anyway I needed to create a card to take to the baby shower they were having for her daughter and this is the card I created to give to her.

The parents decided they wanted a surprise so they don’t know as yet whether they are expecting a baby girl or a boy, so I used neutral colors for my card.

The images used on my card are from Alota Rubber stamps, these include the Crib; Baby Doll Delayna Diane and sentiment on the outside of the card.

The crib has been paper pieced using various different designer papers and card.

Here is the inside of my card … both punches used on this card are from EK Success.

Stamps: Crib, Baby Doll Delayna Diane; It’s A Girl; It’s A Boy – Alota Rubber Stamps; Sentiment inside card – Penny Black

Paper: White; Cream; DP – Kaisercraft

Other: Black Ink; EK Success Curved Scallop Border Punch; EK Success ABC Border Punch; Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Oval Punch; Pearls; Foam Tape; Copics

That is gorgeous, the "curtainn swag" is brilliant and the texture makes it! Love it!
