Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess, Anne Harmon continues with her August challenges.
Our challenge this week is to make a shaped card.
I have to confess that I make a lot of shaped cards as I love doing them, but when a challenge asks me to make a shaped card it takes me forever to decide what I want to do. I guess it is all about having a particular theme in mind when I create one whereas there is no theme when it is a challenge. Anyway after a bit of to and froing on what I would do for this challenge I finally decided upon this cute little pinafore dress that I found on My Scrap Chick. What I especially love is that I can cut these using my ECAL software and Sizzix Eclips cutting machine.
I decided to turn this pinafore card into another baby girl card … I will probably need a few baby girl cards in readiness for November. Plus you can never have too many baby cards when your daughters friends or in laws are also having babies . For the sentiment on the inside I used the MFT Stamps Onesie stamps set … love this stamp set.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
