Happy Thanksgiving

CHF37-Thankgiving2-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another CHF challenge over on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog . This week the challenge is hosted by Anne Harmon.

Anne has challenged us to create a card with a Halloween/Fall theme this time round.

While I was cleaning up some things on my desk recently … I discovered this Thankful die cut card that I had cut using my Sizzix Eclips a year or two ago … the card is an SVG from My Scrap Chick … I thought this would be a great start for this weeks challenge.

CHF37-Thankgiving-wm

I have decorated my card using Cornish Heritage Farms Pilgrim Digital Stamp.

CHF37-Thankgiving3-wm

For the inside of my card I used stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms Fall Harvest stamp set.

Just Flying By…

MyScrapChick-GardenGate2-wm

Hi everyone,

My card today was created using a SVG file from My Scrap Chick … this is an Easel card.

MyScrapChick-GardenGate3-wm

I used my Sizzix Eclips and my ECAL program to cut out all the pieces to create this card. The sentiment I used on my card is the one sentiment which I cut apart so that I could use part of it on the outside and the rest on the inside.

MyScrapChick-GardenGate-wm

Here is my card when it is closed up ready to be mailed.

While we are talking Sizzix…. a couple of week’s ago I was lucky enough to be able to purchase all the new Sizzix Pop N Cuts Journey collection designed by Karen Burniston … starting tomorrow and over the next couple of week’s I will be sharing with you all what I have created using these awesome dies … so don’t forget to drop by each day Smile

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!

Santa Box wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week it is my turn to host the challenge which is also the last challenge for 2012 as we are taking a break for a couple of weeks. But we will be back again at the beginning of 2013 for another year of fun challenges.

For our final challenge of the year I have challenge everyone to Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Make a card, or project, with Santa on it!!

I decided to make something other than a card this time round and decided upon this cute Santa in Chimney box I found on My Scrap Chick. It is a SVG file which I cut using ECAL & my Sizzix Eclips.

Hi everyone!
It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week our challenge hostess is Jovita.

Jovita has challenged us to create a card or project inspired by a Christmas Song.

Riley2512 ChristmasTreeBox2 wm

As I have been playing with this cute Riley Carrying Tree Clear Set stamp set recently the Christmas Song that came to mind immediately for me was Oh Christmas Tree.

I decided to create a Tree Box this time round using an SVG file I purchased from My Scrap Chick.

Here is another view of my box this time round so you can see the top and the bottom. I am not sure yet what I will put inside, but it will be something yummy to give to someone for Christmas Smile

    Shape It Up!

    CCEE1233 Dress wm

    Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess, Anne Harmon continues with her August challenges.

Our challenge this week is to make a shaped card.

I have to confess that I make a lot of shaped cards as I love doing them, but when a challenge asks me to make a shaped card it takes me forever to decide what I want to do. I guess it is all about having a particular theme in mind when I create one whereas there is no theme when it is a challenge. Anyway after a bit of to and froing on what I would do for this challenge I finally decided upon this cute little pinafore dress that I found on My Scrap Chick. What I especially love is that I can cut these using my ECAL software and Sizzix Eclips cutting machine.

    CCEE1233 Dress2 wm

I decided to turn this pinafore card into another baby girl card … I will probably need a few baby girl cards in readiness for November. Plus you can never have too many baby cards when your daughters friends or in laws are also having babies Winking smile. For the sentiment on the inside I used the MFT Stamps Onesie stamps set … love this stamp set.

    MFT PI Home wm

    Hi everyone,

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 1st May.

Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range, and this month there will be six brand new Pure Innocence sets to be released … you are going to love them!!!!!! The PI’s to be released include: PI Baseball Boy; PI Goldfish Girl; PI Home Sweet Home; PI Giraffe Girl; Freckles and PI All Occasion Sentiments.

For my first card today I used the MFT Stamps PI Home Sweet Home stamp set. As you can see I created a house shaped card, I paper pieced the girls outfit. I used the Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass for the bottom of the card. I also used the new Die-namics Squiggle Border along the edge of my roof.

For my second card I used the Pure Innocence Freckles stamp set, what a cutie!!!! After stamping it onto my white card I cut it out using MFT Die-namics Oval STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Oval STAX Set 2. I have also used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX for the panel on the left side of the girl. On the bottom corner of my card I added a photo corner from the Die-namics Photo Corners set. And finally I added the sentiment using the Die-namics Chat Bubbles set, I shorted the chat bubble by putting it back into the die at a different place after I cut it the first time.

I finished the front of the card off by adding some Grosgrain Ribbon Sno Cone to tie a bow.
