Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Vicki Gould brings us her final challenge for the month.
This week Vicki has challenged us to Lace your ribbon (i.e. through a bracket, a piece of lattice work, or cardstock.
For my card this week I used Magnolia’s Tilda with Dog which is a freebie I received with the latest Magnolia magazine … what fun!
For the lacing the ribbon part of the challenge I used my Martha Steward Linked Trim Border Punch, laced my ribbon through this piece and added a big bow to the bottom. I then attached this beside the Magnolia panel.
Here is the inside of my card, I added a sentiment to the designer paper layers.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Gorgeous card love the image and layout and I love how you have threaded the ribbon through the die cut. Caroline xxx
What an adorable digital image..I love the freebies. Colored to perfection on a great layout...all a card should be!
Aaaaah! What a cute image! Great coloring.
Beautiful card! The punch was perfect for ribbon lacing.
Beautifully done! The image is precious!
Sweet Tilda with her precious pup is adorable. Did she get that puppy for Christmas? The punch you have for your ribbon threading is terrific; I love the design of it. Pretty dp, too. Another beautiful creation by Y-O-U!
I think these colors and this image are just fab, Frances! WOW!
Frances,
The image is so very cute and, as always, colored wonderfully! Very pretty card!
That border punch couldn't be more perfect for the ribbon and for an old-fashioned feel so in keeping with your image. I see the ribbon seems to have brought out Christmas spirit for a lot of us! I don't mind the cards that I just need to write a couple of lines in, but I have several I need to write catch-up letters for, and they're the time-consuming ones that I dread!
SWEET and PRETTY!~
absolutely adorable...just love your paper weaving
What a cute card and I like how you laced the ribbon through the border punch.
