Hello

CCEE1318-MFTHello-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess …. Shirley Quarry.

Shirley has challenged us to Make it Shimmer this week when we create our cards/projects.

For my card today I have used a number of the new products which will be available from MFT Stamps next Tuesday 7th May.

For the card base I used the Die-namics Mini Album Square Scallop STAX to die cut Berrylicious card, I folded the card in half prior to die cutting the card.

I used  one of the flowers from Mona Pendleton Design Dandelion Wishes to stamp all over the base of my card using Berrylicious ink.

I used the new Steel Blue card to die cut the scallop panel which was also cut using the Die-namics Mini Album Square Scallop STAX.

On the Smooth White card I again stamped the Mona Pendleton Design Dandelion Wishes all over using Berrylicious ink this time stamping off on scrap paper first before stamping on my card to get a softer look. I then used the Die-namics Happy Hellos and Berrylicious card to create the “Hello” word which I adhered to the bottom right hand side of my card.

I used one of the Ribbon fishtail pieces from the Die-namics Blueprints 2 set. I added a Berrylicious Button to the top left hand corner and Hemp Cord.

For the shimmer part of the challenge I added rhinestones to the top Steel Blue strip.

On the inside of my card I added a sentiment and Dandelion from the Mona Pendleton Design Dandelion Wishes stamp set using Steel Blue ink and Berrylicious ink onto Smooth White card.

Here are the MFT products I used on my card today. Please note the links to the new products being released will not work until they are released.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

That is one beautiful monochromatic card - and as always, your inside as as pretty (in this case, fun in others) as the front.
