May Calendar Page

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing my May calendar page I created for my MFT calendar I am creating this year. I know May is almost over … but better late than never right!

To create my scene this month I used the Pure Innocence Farmer Girl stamp set. I stamped the girl, three pigs, a chicken and the haystack onto white card and cut them out. I paper pieced the shirt, overalls and boots of the PI girl. The haystack was created by stamping and masking repeatedly until I got the size I needed for my calendar.

I used Die-namics Grassy Edges and Factory Green for my grass along the bottom and the Die-namics Farm Fence and Natural card stock, I added a touch of Kraft ink on the fence.

For the sentiment I used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX and Paver Red card stock.

For the calendar section I used the Die-namics LLD Insert It - 3x4 Insert and the  LLD Journal It - Calendar Basics  stamp set. The Calendar is stamped using Black Licorice Ink and Steel Blue Ink onto Kraft card stock .

The base of the calendar uses Paver Red card stock.
