Stitching!

CCEE1346-Stitch-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Cindy Haffner our challenge hostess for November continues to bring us fun challenges.

This week Cindy has challenged us to create a card/project using stitching.

For my card today I used the cute CC Designs Roberto’s Rascals Picture Twila to create a birthday card for a two year old. For the stitching part of the challenge I decided to use Karen Burniston’s new Sizzix Labels & Stitched Frames Framelits … the stitching is an optional die you can use when creating with these dies.

Here is the inside of my card. I added two different designer papers to the left hand side of the card and a sentiment on the right hand side.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: Roberto’s Rascals Picture Twila – CC Designs; LJD Birthday Greetings – MFT Stamps
Paper: White; Pink; Dark Pink; Hello Summer DP – Echo Park
Other: Black Ink; Sizzix Labels & Stitched Frames Framelits; Sizzix Frame & Label, Bracket Die; Taylored Expressions Circle Numbers Die; Taylored Expressions Birthday Treat Toppers; Circle Nestabilities; Foam Tape; Copics

I always love the way you bring the designer papers to the insides of your cards, and this one is just as cute as it can be!

That lovely happy birthday die again! And the stitching die is cool. I always loved that look on SU's top note die. It's a fun take on Cindy's challenge.
