Hi everyone,
It's time for our August Karen Burniston Designer Challenge, this time round the theme Karen has given us is Hoppy, Poppy & Chilly - any theme, any style, any type of project (pop-up, or flat, or 3D or party favor or layout or ...?) using the character/animal dies.
For my card today I have created a Circle Spiral Pull Card ... While looking through some of my older designer paper pads I discovered this fun fly paper so I knew I needed to use it with Hoppy the Frog. To create Hoppy I used Light Green, Black & Red Velvet Adhesive Sheets. The lips were created using the lip die from the Props 1 Set.
The lily pad was created using the small oval in the Katie Label Accordion Card set. After die cutting the oval I then placed one of the Katie Labels onto the front of the oval and put this through the die cutting machine to get a lily shape.
On the spiral portion of my card I added lily flowers and flies which are also included in the Hoppy the Frog die set.
I also added a couple of frog theme sentiments to my card to finish it off.
If you are looking to purchase Karen's Pop It Ups dies in Australia you can find them at Photo Continental.
Don't forget to check out the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog on Wednesday when you will be able to see what all the designers created for the challenge this month. I will also be back tomorrow with another card to share with you for this challenge.
