Hoot!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  Lynn Put our challenge hostess for April continues to bring us our challenges.

This week Lynn tells us that since today is world penguin day and tomorrow is National Go Birding Day, let's create a card or project with some type of bird as the main focus.

As I still have a number of owl stamps waiting to be inked that I purchased in the last 6 months or so, I figured that was the perfect opportunity to be able to get one off my desk and into the box where all my many owl stamps live.

For my card today I have used Whimsy Stamps Autumn Owl and I decided to go with Autumn/Fall colors to decorate my card, seeing it is officially autumn where I live. Although living where I do we really don't get a true autumn with all those pretty colors.  

I used the Sizzix Royal Stand-Ups Card Framelits to create a Gatefold card. I love when you can create another style of card from a die, and these are super easy to create.

 On the inside of my card I added a owl themed birthday sentiment which is from one of my Art Impressions Owl stamp sets.
