Fishing …. It’s A Riley Blog Hop!

Riley-Fishing-wm
Hi everyone!
Welcome to Riley and Company’s blog hop! Come join us as the Riley and Company Design Team take you on a journey discovering all sorts of Riley fun! If you didn’t start at the beginning of this hop, you might want to head on over to the Riley and Company blog so that you don’t miss out on anything.
Since Riley and Company are in the holiday spirit - they are giving away a FREE limited edition MINI Riley stamp with every order in the first 24 hours! And, as an added gift for all of you, we are going to give you Free Domestic shipping Thursday November 24th, until  Sunday night (November 27th) on your entire purchase!!!!!
Be sure to leave a comment on everyone’s blog as you travel from blog to blog as each of the Riley and Company Design Team members will be giving away one new Riley stamp to a random person who leaves a comment on their blog!
This month we have 17 new Riley images and 2 sentiment sets all with a Christmas/Winter theme. We are also introducing a new buddy for Riley …. Percy Penguin which I know you will love!
For my first project today I created a type of pop up card. For the front of my card I used this cute image of Riley and Percy called Riley and Percy - What a Catch! … look at the boot poor Riley caught LOL! I added white liquid applique to the snow and ground to give it a nice snowy feel.
Riley-Fishing2-wm
Here is the inside of my card … it is only partly opened at this stage and you can see the image on the back part of my card, Riley and Percy dancing! In front of this image in the very centre of the card are snowflakes which have been attached to strips of acetate which wave in the air when the card is fully opened.
Riley-Fishing5-wm
Here is my card fully opened … you can now see the snowflakes as they wave in the air and the sentiment that I used on the other panel on the inside of this card, this sentiment is from  Christmas Words 2. The instructions on how to make one of these cards can be found on Valita’s Fresh Folds Blog.
I have created a short video of this card, so that you can see what the card looks like a little better when it is opened.

A Closer Look at my Riley and Company Waving Pop Up Card
Riley-PeteSecretBox-wm
For my second project today I created a Secret Box which was one of the Holiday Tutorial Blitz on Splitcoast Stampers a couple of week’s ago. For my box I used Percy snow angel … I am just loving this new character!
Riley-PeteSecretBox2-wm
Here is another view of my box when it is closed, this time from the top of the box.
RIley-PeteSecretBox4-wm
As you can see the box is opens up diagonally to reveal there drawers. I haven’t put anything in my drawers yet, but I plan on filling these up with a few special gifts to give to a friend at a Christmas breakup we are having today.
Riley-PeteSecretBox3-wm
And here is one more look at my box when it is open. This was pretty easy to make and lots of fun!
Well that is about it from me for today, now it is time to hop on over to the blog of Kelly Santi and see what stunning creations she has install for you today.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs, so that you have a chance to win some blog candy.
