Just Plane Awesome

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for the month which is Anne Harmon.

Ann has challenged us to make a masculine card using plaid (paper or stamp)

For my card today I decided to create a combo accordion card using the Oval Landscape Accordion and the Gift Card Accordion die sets designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs

I use the cloud die from the Cloud/Grass die set to create a stencil to sponge clouds onto my white oval pieces which is sponged using Turquoise PanPastels from the PanPastel Flower Coloring Kit 2.

To decorate my card I used Taylored Expressions Plane Awesome Stamp & Coordinating die set.

Here is a close up of the last pages of my accordion card.

And finally the front of my card when it is folded ready to be placed in an envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

I have this set of planes and dies, and I just love them. I really like the way you used both planes, and of course the RED plaid!!!

A fantastic subtle way of adding plaid designer paper to your project, it frames your images perfectly.
