Hi everyone,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess for the month, Maryann Einam continues to issue the challenges.
According
to the National calendar today is National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. It
is a chronic disease that I have, there is no cure but maybe some day they will
be. So Please make a Get Well card and add a purple ribbon.
For my card today I have created a Pull Card using the Rectangle Pull Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
The decorative pieces on either edge of my card were created using an embossing folder and the letterpress technique. I used the same embossing for both sides, but inked a different side of the inside of the embossing folder prior to running through my Big Shot so I got a different look on each piece of card.
The image is from Kanban Stamps.
When you 'pull' the card open it reveals the sentiment which is the A Way with Words - Get Well Soon die set.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Just adorable in all the purple, and fun since you and Maryann used the same image. GMTA!
Love how you used the embossing folder to get 2 different impressions. Love your images and coloring. Love how the "Way With Words" sentiment fits in the rectangle. I guess I just love EVERYTHING about this card!
This is such a sweet image. I always love the mechanics of your special cards. This purple is really pretty.
Looks like you and Maryann were definitely on the same page today! A delightful card!
Haha it looks like we have done it again and used the same image, I had the other image in the set in mind but this one suited best. I love the way you have used the different sides for your embossed panels.
Great card - Such a sweet image, and I love the way you used the embossing folder to create the patterns.
What a sweet, sweet card! We all need a touch of TLC from time to time!! Beautiful work on this awesome get well design, Frances!
