Hi everyone,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Maryann Einam our challenge hostess for the month finishes off her month with one last challenge.
This week Maryann asked us to create a "Tall Thin" Card to celebrate Walk on Stilts Day.
I am still playing with my new Go Press and Foil machine by Couture Creations. As I was successful playing with embossing folders and foil the other day, I thought I would try again with some of my older embossing folders ..... well some worked some didn't so you may get to see some more embossing folders with foil in the future.
However while I was going through my embossing folders I noticed some older Spellbinders Impressablities which I thought I would try to see if I could use those to foil my cardstock. Yay .... this was a win that I ended up doing a few of these in a few different colors, one being this silver foiled image on black cardstock.
This card looks awesome in real life, but unfortunately I haven't been able to photograph it very successfully, most of the card is foiled. I have tried taking photos inside and out without success.
As you can see I have added the foiled circles to the top and bottom of the card and then I used the Art Deco Tag Hot Foil Stamp for the centre of the card.
For the inside of the card I added the left over foiled circles panel to the bottom of the card. I also added a Celebrate Your Birthday Hot Foil Stamp using silver foil to the centre of the card.

Wow! This is one impressive card! The colors just POP - I can imagine it's even more stunning in real life. Phenomenal use of the foil ♥
Wow, your silver foil paired with the black and white must make this so dynamic. Love the design you chose for this and how your layout accents that middle design too.
Love your technique on this uniquely beautiful card, Frances!
Loving that fabulous Art Deco center image on this gorgeous silver and black creation!!
Sure looks beautiful to me......and I can understand how hard it was to photo.......some things are ridiculously hard!!.........
Very nice card, Frances. I like how you brought the design from the front into the inside.
