A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have created a Christmas card using a stamp set that was included with a stamping magazine I purchased recently. This stamp set is themed on the 12 Days of Christmas which includes images for each of the 12 days, sentiments etc. There aren't many stamps around with this theme especially including all the 12 days, so I had to add it to my stash. The magazine is Creative Stamping issue 63.

For today's card I went with day 1 ... A Partridge in a Pear Tree. I created a trifold card using Our Daily Bread Designs Tri-fold Card with Layers die set.

For the partridge sentiment I stamped it onto red cardstock using VersaMark Ink and then embossed using white embossing powder. I then used the smallest banner from Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set to die cut the sentiment.. I used the torn edge accessory die to die cut the edges of the banner.

I also added the "On the first day of Christmas" and used circle dies to die cut the sentiment.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
