Happy Easter Egg Shaped Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Easter Egg Shaped card with you all today using some of the new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

For the base of my card I used the solid egg from the new Easter Eggs Large die set. I folded a piece of white cardstock in half and then positioned the top of the egg die so it was over the fold so I die cut a folded egg shaped card.

I used the same die again this time die cutting an egg that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front.

For the decorative layer I colored a piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide inks and then spritz the panel using Perfect Pearls in water to create a shimmery effect. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the panel using the decorative overlay egg die.

I adhered the solid adhesive egg to the decorative layer and then covered the remaining adhesive using Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.

I added the Happy Easter Sentiment to the centre of the egg coloring the sentiment using the yellow and orange inks I used for the egg.

For the inside of the card I added some grass using the grass border from the Tree die set and add the cute chick which is from the Little Chick die set.

I added the sentiment from the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set.
