Hop Hop Hooray!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a colorful birthday card I created recently.

When I first saw this fun Stamping Bella hopscotch themed stamp online a few months back, I knew it was one I needed to add to my stash .... so of course did. Well I have finally gotten around to playing with it.

I created the background using Altenew's Bubble Wrap Stencil blending Distress Oxide inks in rainbow order through the stencil. Once I had finished the background I die cut it using one of the squares from Elizabeth Craft Designs Dashing Squares die set.

To finish off the front of the card, I added four heart acrylic embellishments to the background panel.

The sentiment is actually three lines, so I masked off the bottom row and stamps the first two onto white cardstock and die cut using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set.

I used the same colored inks I used on the front to create the circle border along the bottom of the white panel on the inside of the card.

I added the third line of the sentiment which I masked off for the front of the card to the top of my white panel. I then added two "hop" themed sentiments from Woodware's Hoppy Birthday stamp set.
