Hap-bee Birthday Z Fold Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Z Fold Card using stamps and dies from the  Divinity Designs February release.

To create my card I used Divinity Designs Z-Fold Card With Layers die set. I used papers from the Fall Favorites Collection Paper Pad to decorate the panels, alternating the dots, stripes and plain papers.

For the end right hand panel I used the Quilted Honeycomb Background die to die cut the honeycomb background from white cardstock and the orange cardstock and paper pieced all the orange pieces into the frame.

I added a sentiment and a few of the bees from the Bee-lieve Stamp/Die Duos set.

For the far left short panel, I added the "Hap-bee Birthday" sentiment layering the sentiment using the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die set. I added a few more bees around the panel.

For the centre panel on both the front and back of the card I added the tree branch, the bee hive and some bees.

I added another sentiment and a few more bees to the back of the short panel shown on the right in the photo above.

Welcome Baby Z-Fold Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today we are taking a look back at Divinity Designs August Release, here is the card I created using the Z-Fold Card With Layers die set.  For more inspiration using the August Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog.

As you can see I have created baby card. As I made 3 baby boy and 2 baby girl cards last month, I decided to create another baby girl card this time around to even it up!

The papers used on my card today are from Divinity Designs Baby Girl Paper Pad which was released last month. I die cut the front and back panels using the same patterned paper and then used stripes for the centre panel each side.

The Welcome Baby, Pacifier, Onesie, bear and rabbit are all from the Baby Blessings die set.

On the back panel, I added the Letter Board die set to add the Letter Board and the Congrats message.

I also used the Ovals and Scalloped Ovals die sets for layering the sentiment.

As you can see by the photo above, I added the onesie to the centre panel on each side.

To create the It's A Girl sentiment, I used the alphabet from the Letter Board die set for the "It's A" portion of the sentiment adding the "It's to the baby bottle from the Baby Blessing Stamp set. The "Girl" is die cut using the Long & Lean Letters die set.

I added a baby rattle to the end of the sentiment.

Divinity Designs - August Release

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing three projects I created using new stamps, dies and patterned papers from  Divinity Designs August Release.  For more inspiration using the August Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog.

My projects today features seven of the new stamp, stamp/die duo & dies being released today ... Farm Friends Stamps/Die Duo set, Hogs & Kisses and Rise & Shine Stamp sets, Barn die set, Z-Fold With Layers die set, Farm Fence die and Chicken Wire Background die.

For my  first card today I created a Z-Fold Card using the new Z-Fold with Layers die set. I used papers from the Birthday Bright and Menswear Paper Pads to create my sky & grass scene.

I then die cut the Farm Fence from white cardstock and added it to each panel.

I used the Barn die set to create the barn which I added to the right hand panel.

I placed the animals from the Farm Friends Stamp/Die Duo set which I added randomly to the card.

Here is a look at the panels on the back of the card, some of which can be seen when the card is closed.

I also added a number of sentiments from the Hogs & Kisses stamps set and the animal sounds above each of the animals.

Next I used the Barn die set to create a shaped card. I die cut the barn from red cardstock and decorated the barn using the accessory dies included in the barn die set.

To decorate the card I used some of the animals from the Farm Friends stamp/die duo set.

To create the folded card, I took a piece of red card that was twice the wide of the barn die, folded it in half and then die cut the barn so that the cutting edge on the left side of the barn was overhanging the fold of the card. I then adhered the decorated barn to the front of the folded barn card.

I used one of the sentiments from the Hogs & Kisses stamp set to add the birthday sentiment which I stamped and layered onto an oval from the Double Stitched Ovals die set.

Along the bottom of the card I added a few more of the animals from the Farm Friends stamp/die duo set. To finish off the card, I stamped the animal sounds above each of the animals which are also included in the Farm Friends stamp set.

For my final card today I created a Tri-fold card using the Tri-fold Card with Layers die set.

I used the Rustic Beauty Paper Pad to decorate the layers of the card.

For the centre panel of my card I added the chicken wire from the new Chicken Wire Background die and then added the rooster from the Rise & Shine stamp set. The rooster is stamped and layered using the Circles and Double Stitched Circles die sets.

I added the sentiment which is also from this stamp set.

Here is one more look at my card, this time when it is folded ready to be placed in an envelope.
