Happy Birthday Chick!

Hi everyone,

I went digging into my older stamps for todays card, it is good to ink up something you haven’t inked for a while everyone now and then don’t you think!

This little cute chick is one from Stampendous which I have had for a number of years. I used the MFT Die-namics Circle Stax 1 to create the circle cut out in the designer paper layer to reveal the base card for the image.

Here is the inside of my card. As you can see I used the circle that I die cut from the front of my card and put it onto the lower right hand corner of the card.

Thinking About You!

Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week being the first Thursday of the month we have a new challenge hostess which is Charlene Merrick.
Charlene has challenged us to use gingham in our design (ribbon, designer paper, buttons, fabric etc).
For my card this week I decided to grab my Sizzix Fancy Frame Flip-its die again to make another flip it/swing card. I used a recent new purchase from Lili of the Valley, aren’t those kids just so sweet! I have gingham designer paper and also gingham ribbon for the challenge part.

Here is my card opened, the centre panel “flips” so the other side can be seen. This time round I was able to cut the white fancy label which is smaller than the piece on the flip-it die using the Sizzix Fancy Labels framelits dies, this made creating this card so much easier to make.

Another quick look at my card, this is the back side of my card when it is opened and the main image flips to the back.

You’re Golden!

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This is another fun sketch!

For my card today I used the new MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Goldfish Girl, isn’t she just adorable! I have paper pieced the little girl’s shirt. I used the Die-namics Circle STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Circle STAX Set 2 for my main image.

The flower was created using the Die-namics Loopy Bloom and My Favorite Felt Blue Skies. The sentiment is stamped onto the smallest ribbon from the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die.

For the two stripes that go vertically up the card on the sketch I opted for ribbon ….. Grosgrain Ribbon Lemon Drop.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the image and also a sentiment from the MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Goldfish Girl.

It’s Your Day!

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is Flowers ….. either paper flowers, die cuts, embellishments or floral paper etc.

This week I used Paper Pretties Smile Monkey stamp set to create my card. There are flowers in the image itself and there are also flowers on my designer paper.

Here is the inside of my card, this time round I used Paper Pretties Cursive Greetings 2 stamp set for my sentiment.

Just Fur You … MFT New Product Tour!

It’s release day over on MFT Stamps, which means it is time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for our New Product Tour! All the new products are available NOW, right HERE, in the Brand Spankin' New category of the MFT Stamps store.

Today I am featuring the new Claire Keay – You A-mews Me stamp set, isn’t it just so adorable!!!!!! I have paper pieced the cat outfit the girl is wearing using designer paper.

The image is stamped and layered using the Die-namics Designer Labels 1 set, to get the black edging I cut another from the same sized die and then cut it in half and placed this at the top and bottom of my white piece. I then cut strips to fit on the straight pieces at the sides. Along the left edge of the designer label I attached a black piece cut from the Die-namics Squiggle Border. I also used the Die-namics Squiggle Border on the red panel underneath the designer label. My final layer was cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax.

I used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax for my sentiment panel. I also added a charm using the Die-namics Pet Charms die.

Today I am using the new Girly Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp set to create my card. As I am a Grandma, I decided to make my T Shirt for a Grandma. The Tshirt is layered onto the new Die-namics Designer Labels 1 set.

Here is the inside of my card, I added a sentiment from the Girly Graphic Tee Die-namics & Stamp set. This is a sentiment I probably would say from time to time (so far not for my Grandson hehe) so I figured it was perfect to use on my card. I used the new  Vertical Greetings II Die-namics for my sentiment.

It’s challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog, this time it is my turn to host the challenge. I challenged everyone to include an animal of some type on their card.
