Because You’re Special …..Let’s Hop & Shop!

MFT-Because-PI1-wm

It’s release day over on MFT Stamps, which means it is time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Blog Hop and Shop!".

The hop started at Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Tonight I'm featuring the Pure Innocence – Because You’re Special stamp set. Isn’t she just adorable … I can see so many opportunities to use this set … birthdays, get well, Mother’s Day, just because … the list goes on!

The layout of my card is a recent sketch I found over on SCS. On the front of my card I used two of the new MFT Die-namic dies ….. the Dainty Lace Border die and the Mini Rolled Roses die. The Mini Rolled Roses Die comes as a set of two dies … the rose used on my card is the larger of the two.

Here is the inside of my card, besides using the Die-namics Dainty Lace Border die again I also used the Dainty Lace Doily … I looooooove this die!!!!!!!!! I stamped the girl in my centre circle along with one of the sentiments from the set.

This cute little box was created using the Sweet Surprise Gift Box template which was designed by Jen and released by MFT Stamps late last month … this is such a fun little template. Also on the front you can see another of the roses created using the new MFT Die-namics Mini Rolled Rose die … this time round I used the smaller rose.

Here you can see the box starting to be opened up … I have removed the belly band from around the box.

This template comes in various formats so you can cut it out using whatever cutting machine you own.

  • PDF: traditional print & cut version.
  • SVG: for use with the Cricut Expression and Make The Cut or Sure Cuts a Lot software
  • Ai & DXF: for use with Wishblade, Pazzles, and KNK machines
  • GSD: for use with the Silhouette

We are still opening the box … the front flap has been lifted to reveal these half circle flaps.

And finally the sweet surprise gift box is fully opened. I have added some chocolates into the little box in the centre. The template comes with an additional piece that you can cut out and place into this box so that it will hold a gift certificate.

Well that is about it from me for today, now it is time to hop on over to the blog of the marvellously talented Joanne Basile and see what awesome creation she has to share with you today.

Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs, you never know who may be giving away blog Candy!!
