Today I am sharing with you a card I made to give to my husband today for our Anniversary. We have been married 36 years today!!!!!!!
And to top it off ... this post is my 1000th blog post since I started this blog approx 21 months ago. yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
The card uses the stamp set "Sealed with A Kiss" which is available from Paper Pretties .... I love this set ... I got it earlier in the year to make a card for my daughters engagement. It works for so many different occasions!
I used last week's Paper Pretties challenge PWC30 which was a sketch challenge. There was a twist to use either of two stamp sets, but as I don't own either of those sets and I liked the sketch I decided to use it anyway and do my own thing.
I only used part of the main image for my card so that it would work with this sketch. I popped the chocolate box and envelope up using foam tape and also added a heart brad to the envelope the girl is holding.
I used the d'vine swirls cuttlebug embossing folder to add texture to the two red panels at the bottom section of the card.
Here's a close up of the main image.
Oh and btw ... if you haven't seen it yet ... pop on over to Sheetload of Cards, this month Paper Pretties is the sponsor for this ezine. There are some wonderful samples using the Paper Pretties nativity stamp sets in there.
