Hi everyone and welcome to my blog ... I hope you are all enjoying our MFT blog hop today. If you didn't hop onto my blog from Cindy Haffner's blog then you might want to go back to Kim's blog so you can start at the beginning.
My MFTeaser today is another project using the new Isabelle Paper Doll set which is to be released later today (Wednesday 3rd December) by MFT Stamps.
I just love paper dolls so was very excited when I discovered that MFT Stamps was planning on releasing this set. I decided to create a Paper doll set that could be kept all together in a altoid tin.
First I covered the tin, and then I stamped Isabelle & the dog onto white card, cut them both out and attached these to the front of the tin. I computer generated the sentiment and attached it to the middle of the flowers that I attached to the front of my tin.
I also attached a handle to the side of my tin to make it easier for a little girl to carry it around.
I then stamped two paper dolls and all the clothes onto white photocopy paper, colored them and attached these all to adhesive magnet sheets. Once I had cut everything out I placed them inside the tin. Being magnetic the dolls and clothes attach themselves to the tin so they don't fall out and you can place the clothes onto the doll and again they don't fall off.
You can even place one of the pieces of clothing onto the front of the tin if you want to dress that doll up too.
Here is another view of the inside of my paper doll tin.
My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) is having a New Release Cocktail Party tonight Wednesday, December 3rd from 9-10 p.m. Eastern time. This month there are THREE new sets being released including a TOTE-ally awesome Who's that Girl set!
Head over to the MFT forum on www.splitcoaststampers.com to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.
Well now it is time for you to hop off my blog and continue on the blog hop by hopping onto Jessie Rone's blog. Hope you enjoy your journey and thanks for visiting.
