Hi everyone!
It’s birthday time again for one of our Paper Prettie Design Team Members. Christi Thorsen is a year older today, happy birthday Christi! Of course what better way to celebrate than a Birthday Blog Hop Prettie Girl style! As we can't get together to celebrate in person the next best thing is a virtual birthday party .... yahhhhhhhh what fun!
Now if you didn't start this hop at Christie Ortman’s blog you have missed out on all the fun .... I'll wait for you to come back!
All the Prettie Girls were asked to bring something along for the party, so I decided to bring the birthday banner!
I used the new Canadian Sophia for my card today. I really love this stamp, however I don’t have much need to make Canadian cards seeing I live in Australia so I decided to alter her a little. First off I cut off her flags she is holding and found this large banner that she could hold instead. To hide the Canadian flag on her top I punched out a red flower and added a gemstone. I know I will be using this stamp a lot!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the party festivities so far. Now it is time to continue on our birthday blog hop and visit Julie Masse’s blog.
Recipe:
Stamps: Canadian Sophia – Paper Pretties; Banner & Sentiment – Darcies Stamps
Paper: White; Black; Real Red – SU; DP – Kaiser Craft
Other: Black Ink; Red Grosgrain Ribbon; Foam Tape; Copics

Another sensational card, Frances. I love the striped DP matted in black against the solid red and the way you make perfect use of all the white space on the image.
Fabulous!!! I really love the bright colors...so fun! Hope you have a wonderful day! :)

LOVE the idea of a virtual birthday celebration. And a birthday isn't complete without a banner! Love your festive card.
