Hi everyone!
It’s birthday time again for one of our Paper Prettie Design Team Members. Today Danielle Lounds is a year older, happy birthday Danielle! Of course what better way to celebrate than a Birthday Blog Hop Prettie Girl style! As we can't get together to celebrate in person the next best thing is a virtual birthday party .... yahhhhhhhh what fun!
Now if you didn't start this hop at Jodi Collins blog you have missed out on all the fun .... I'll wait for you to come back!
Two week’s ago Jacque Pedro challenged the Prettie Girls to a color challenge. We were to create a card using the in colors Bermuda Bay & Soft Suede or similar colors if we didn’t have them. Thanks to a friend who sent me some sheets of each color for another challenge I am doing later on in the month I did have these colors to play with. I was also lucky that I went shopping for some designer paper and discovered this one on the back of one I purchased that matched the colors I needed to use.
Of course I just had to use the new Make A Wish Sophia which will be the Paper Pretties SOTM set for September.
Now before you all leave me to visit the next stop on this blog hop. It is my turn to issue the next challenges to the Prettie Girls for 2 weeks time. Hmmmmmmmmmm what will I make em do LOL! Ok I will be kind I think, although they may think differently. You all know how addicted I have become of scaplings this part year .... so my challenge to my fellow Prettie Girls to is create a scrapling ... easy!
Scraplings are normally 1.25" x 4.25" because they are often made from the off cuts you get when you make a square card (4.25" square) from a piece of card that is 4.25" x 5.5". However if you are like me your scraplings may be a little wider depending on what you are working on at the time. Now for me 1.25" is way too narrow and I normally have wider card then that left over so you can makes yours wider .... BUT for this challenge they cannot be any wider then 2.5 inches that is for the base of the scrapling ... you can have wider pieces hanging off like I did with my scrapling above, that is up to you .... as long as they are no wider then 2.5 inches.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the party festivities so far. Now it is time to continue on our birthday blog hop and visit Julie Masse blog. Don’t forget to wish Danielle a Happy Birthday when you reach her blog.
