Hi everyone,
I have one more card to share with you today … this time for this week’s Pink Elephant challenge. This week the challenge is a recipe challenge which I am starting to actually like hehe. The recipe this week was to use 1 ribbon, 2 squares and something that sparkles.
I decided to create a Halloween card using the new “Too Cute To Spook” set which is going to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Wednesday 2nd September … this set is super adorable!
First up I stamped the witch and the cat and then I masked these and stamped in the tree and fence. Then finally the moon/clouds and the bats. the moon was also masked so I could color this separately. Once everything was masked I used my copic airbrush system to add the various different colors to my scene starting with the ground and ending with my orange sky. I then removed my moon mask and added yellows to that.
Onto my recipe I had to use for the challenge … well the piece I stamped my scene on is my first square and then my card is also square that equals 2 squares! My ribbon is easy to see on the left side of my card. And finally I added rhinestones to my sentiment … my sparkles!
Head over to the Pink Elephant Challenge blog if you want to play along. You can also see what the other design team members created this week.
