Keeping An Eye Out and Hopping Around the Block!

mft-eye-jar-wm

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Hop Around the Block"

Now if you didn't hop onto my blog from Cindy Haffner's blog then you might want to hop back to Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and there is lots to see!

MFT Stamps will be releasing five new stamp sets, Coffee? Tea? WTG; Party Girl; Sow Seeds Of Love; Too Cute To Spook and Ghoulish Labels …. these will all be available on the MFT Stamps store after our MFT Stamps Release party which starts tonight at 8pm EST over on the MFT Member Forum of SCS.!

mft-eyes-wm For my first project for today I used the new Ghoulish Labels set …. oh this set has soooo many possibilities! I originally wanted to get some eye bubble gum which I have seen around the place, but when I went looking I couldn’t find any and not to be defeated I decided to make my own eyes which could be used for a Halloween decoration.

To make the eyes I purchased some ping pong balls and then used the eye stamp from the Ghoulish Label set to stamp on my ping pong balls. You can find my tips on how I did this in this week’s HTDT Forum over on the MFT Member Forum of SCS. I also decorated the jar which is part of MFT Stamps perfect packaging range

Here is another view so you can see the top of the jar. Here I used the Bling Bet stamp set to create the wording “Eye Balls” instead of using the letter E in the word eye I used the eye stamp from the set again.

I have to say that creating my projects this month for the MFT Stamps release I had the odd feeling of being watched even though no one was home … I wonder why LOL!

mft-coffee-duo-wm

My next two projects today use the new Coffee? Tea? Who’s That Girl Set. This is such a fun set!

mft-coffee-while-wm

As you can see I paper pieced the girls dress.

mft coffee mug2 After making the card I decided to also decorate a travelling coffee mug using the same designer papers etc. A fun and easy gift to give to a friend. It’s hard to see on the photos and I didn’t want to add to many more as I have tons already … but I have used the cups that are included in the set on either side of the centre image. You can just see them in the top photo.

Well that is enough from me for today … it’s time to continue on the hop. This time you will be heading on over to the amazing Barbara Anders’ Blog so you can continue on your Hop Around The Block. Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by!
