An Angelic Ornament

Hi Everyone!

It is time for another challenge over on the Alota Rubber Stamps Paper Craft Planet Group. This week the challenge is hosted by Susan Uncle. Susan challenge is “Hang it from the tree” …. sounds like the perfect challenge for this time of year.

You have two weeks from today to participate in this challenge and you also have a chance of winning some wonderful stamps if you card/project is selected randomly from all the entries received.

For me the challenge yelled some sort of Christmas ornament, and I remembered what fun I used to have years ago making ornaments using these clear baubles. I used Alota Rubber Stamps “Three Angels” stamp although as you can see I only used 2 of the angels to create my ornament. I stamped the angels onto white card, colored them and cut them out. I attached sticky paper over a piece of blue card and used a die cut circle to cut out my shape. I removed the protective backing from the sticky paper, attached the angels to the circle and then covered the rest of the circle with glitter. The clear bauble was adhered over the circle.

I also die cut 2 fleur de lis pendants and attached them to the back of my circle.

Recipe:

Stamps: Three Angels – Alota Rubber Stamps

Paper: White; Light Blue; Navy

Other: Black Ink; Clear Glitter; Clear Plastic Bauble Half; Gold Cord; Fleur De Lis Pendant Die; White Ink; Foam Tape; Copics
