It’s time for another Wednesday Stamp Club over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.
I always look forward to the 1st Wednesday of each month as that is when Cindy Haffner and I host a sketch challenge. This month it is my turn to host the challenge! Upload your creation to the SCS gallery using keyword MFTWSC11032010 for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate! You have until noon Tuesday, November 9th to take part.
For my card today I used one of the new MFT Stamps Pure Innocence sets which are to be released after the release party on Wednesday night 6th October. This set is called “PI – Naptime”, isn’t she a cutie!
I paper pieced the little girls PJ’s using designer paper and added some buttons using the MFT Die-namics Button Quartet die.
Here is the inside of my card. I used one of the sentiments included in the set, I can so relate to that sentiment. It has been a long time since I had to worry too much about naptimes on a regular basis but I know when my kids were little I used to look forward to that time out.
The little bear is cut out from when I paper pieced the girls pyjama’s on the front of the card …. I couldn’t let this go to waste LOL! And finally I used the new small open scallop die-namic die along the bottom of the my striped panel.
And of course let’s not forget the sketch. For more details on this challenge don’t forget to check out this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club thread over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.
