Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week our hostess for the challenge is Heather Prince who has challenged us to create a distressed/shabby chic card with at least 7 layers (matts are counted as a layer) but the more layers the better!.
When you first read the challenge and the 7 layers you might think yikes … I know I did but in reality I often have 7 layers. It just looks a lot when it is written rather than when you see the card. KWIM! I actually have 9 layers on this one.
For my card I used Cheers Riley, the sentiment is from Moose Sayings 2 stamp set.
Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment is another of the sentiments included in the Moose Sayings 2 stamp set.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Teams blogs today so see what they created for this challenge.
Stamps: Cheers Riley; Moose Sayings 2 – Riley and Company |
Paper: White; Brown; Green; All Spice DP – My Mind’s Eye |
Other: Black Ink; Antique Linen Distress Ink; Distressing Tool; Sewing Machine; Circle Nestabilities; Brown Brads; MFT Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon; Foam Tape; Copics |
