Thinking About You!

CCEE1218 Gingham wm
Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week being the first Thursday of the month we have a new challenge hostess which is Charlene Merrick.
Charlene has challenged us to use gingham in our design (ribbon, designer paper, buttons, fabric etc).
For my card this week I decided to grab my Sizzix Fancy Frame Flip-its die again to make another flip it/swing card. I used a recent new purchase from Lili of the Valley, aren’t those kids just so sweet! I have gingham designer paper and also gingham ribbon for the challenge part.

Here is my card opened, the centre panel “flips” so the other side can be seen. This time round I was able to cut the white fancy label which is smaller than the piece on the flip-it die using the Sizzix Fancy Labels framelits dies, this made creating this card so much easier to make.

Another quick look at my card, this is the back side of my card when it is opened and the main image flips to the back.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Love the gingham combined with the polka dots - especially in those colours. I must admit to being tempted by those dies, too. I can manage to cut a plain rectangular flip card OK, but anything else I've tried with Nestabilities never flips as well as it should.

I don't think I've seen that die before -- how very clever. And your card is marvelous!
