Hi everyone,
The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to kick-start our holiday projects with Christmas in July. Be sure to check out the MFT Stamps Blog for a list of all participating designers.
Some of the MFT Design Team, have been commenting recently how strange it is to be Christmas stamping in Summer …. but for me Christmas and Hot Summer Days is the norm living down here in Australia.
For my project this month, I decided to create a Christmas planner to use this year to keep track of the presents I buy and also the Christmas cards that I send to family & friends.
I used the Inspired by Christmas stamp set to decorate my planner, this was stamped and layered using the Die-namics Designer Labels 1 STAX . The green part of my planner was created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and the year was cut using the Die-namics By the Numbers.
My Planner is divided into two sections … gifts and cards. I created tabs using the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome dies and stamped the names of each using the Typewriter Alphabet.
Here is a peek inside to see my pages of my planner, these were created using my computer.
Stamps: Inspired By Christmas; Typewriter Alphabet – MFT Stamps |
Paper: White; Burgundy; December 25th DP – Kaisercraft |
Die-namics: Designer Labels 1; Fishtail Flags; By the Numbers; Mini Tabs Foursome – MFT Stamps |
Other: Black Ink; Antique Linen Distress Ink; Brads; Cinch Binder; |
