MFTeaser Day 6

MFT PI Buttons wm

Hi everyone and happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Monday 4th February

Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range which are being released. The stamp sets being released this month include:

  • Pure Innocence Bunny Ears
  • Pure Innocence Cute As A Button
  • Pure Innocence One of My Favorite Peeps

I have a couple of projects to share with you today. For my first card I am using the Pure Innocence Cute As A Button which of course she is! I stamped the girl onto white card and layered using the Die-namics Oval Stax 1 & 2. Of course I had to also include the new Die-namics Button Border on this card … what fun! This is actually a two part die and I was able to attach all the buttons to the base border stitching with Hemp Cord. I am not a sewer by any means, but even I could handle that hehe! I also used the flower from the Die-namics Easter Elements set also being released on Monday, I added another button from the Button Border and tied that with the Hemp Cord. For the sentiment I used the largest arrow from the Die-namics Lead the Way set.

I used Blu Raspberry, Cotton Candy cardstock to create my card.

Here is the inside of my card. As you can see I used the Die-namics Button Border again … love how this looks with all the different colors and added one of the sentiments from the set using Black Licorice Ink.

Stamps: Pure Innocence Cute As A Button – MFT Stamps
Paper: White; Brown; Blu Raspberry (MFT); Cotton Candy (MFT); Botanical Odyssey DP – Kaisercraft
Die-namics: Oval Stax 1 & 2; Button Border; Easter Elements; Lead the Way – MFT Stamps
Other: Black Licorice (MFT); Hemp Cord (MFT); Foam Tape; Copics

MFT PIBunnyEars March wm

As Easter is in March this year I used  the Pure Innocence Bunny Ears stamp set to create my calendar page for March.

I paper pieced the girls bunny outfit using designer paper. For the egg she is holding I stamped the dotted egg from the Lisa Johnson Designs Embellished Egg set onto white card using Grape Jelly Ink and then stamped the egg portion of the image over this and cut that out. The base of this calendar page is Grape Jelly card.

To create the scene I cut out two Die-namics Lattice Fence out of Sweet Tooth card and adhered them to my blue card which is Sno Cone cardstock. I added the Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass to the bottom of the page using designer paper. In the sky area I used the Die-namics Cloud Trio to create my clouds. I added some smaller eggs and some chicks using the Lisa Johnson Designs Embellished Egg stamp set and Die-namics Easter Elements. I used the three new ink colors that are being released on Monday to stamp all my eggs and calendar … Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink Pad; Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink Pad; Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink Pad. The chicks were stamped using Lemon Drop Ink pad.

For the calendar section I used the Die-namics LLD Insert It - 3x4 Insert and the  LLD Journal It - Calendar Basics  stamp set.

Stamps: Pure Innocence Bunny Ears; LJD Embellished Eggs; LLD Journal It Calendar Basics – MFT Stamps
Paper: Sweet Tooth (MFT); Grape Jelly (MFT); Sno Cone (MFT); Grapesicle (MFT)
Die-namics: Insert It 3 x 4 Insert; Lattice Fence; Fresh Cut Grass; Cloud Trio;
