Hi everyone,
The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to do some scene building with MFT Stamps and Die-namics. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.
For my first card today I have used MFT Stamps Doodle Garden Far Out stamp set for the focus of my card.
To create my scene I started with Sno Cone card stock, in the sky area of the card I die cut some clouds directly onto the Sno Cone panel using the Die-namics Jumbo Cloud STAX.
Along the bottom portion of the card I used Factory Green card stock and the Die-namics Snow Drifts to create my grassy area. I sponged some Factory Green ink along the top edge of each of the grass pieces to help highlight the layers.
I also used the Die-namics Flower & Leaf Trio and cut out some small flowers using Lemon Drop card stock and Wild Cherry card stock and adhered them randomly around the grass area of my card.
The scene on the Sno Cone card stock was then layered onto a larger Smooth White cardstock and then onto Kraft cardstock for the base layer.
I stamped the sentiment into the recessed cloud area using Black Licorice ink … the sentiment is also from the Doodle Garden Far Out stamp set.
For the inside of my card I have again used Sno Cone card stock and added one grassy layer at the bottom using Factory Green card stock and the Die-namics Snow Drifts.
I added a few more flowers using the Die-namics Flower & Leaf Trio and cut out some small flowers using Lemon Drop card stock and Wild Cherry card stock
To finish off the inside I added a couple of sentiments from the Doodle Garden Far Out stamp set.

For my second card today I used the Pure Innocence I Wheelie like You as the focus of my scene.
To start my scene I again started with Sno Cone card stock. At the top of my card I added some clouds using the Die-namics Jumbo Cloud STAX and Smooth White card stock. Around the edge of each cloud I sponged some Sno Cone ink.
Next I die cut the Die-namics Picket Fence using Natural cardstock, I used Kraft ink to add a little shading to the fence.
Along the bottom of the card I used the Die-namics Grassy Edges and Factory Green card stock to create my grass area. I also sponged the top of my grass using Factory Green ink.
For the tree I used the Die-namics Sheltering Tree & Leaf Trio this was die cut using Kraft card for the trunk I sponged over the trunk using Kraft ink. For the leaves I used Sour Apple card stock and Factory Green ink.
The finished scene was then layered onto Natural card stock and then for the base Sweet Tooth cardstock.
Here is the inside of my card. I created the grassy area using the Die-namics Grassy Edges and Factory Green card stock and then I sponged the top of my grass using Factory Green ink.
