Aloha … MFTeaser Day 5

Welcome to day 4 of the MFTeasers in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this month. The new products will be available on Tuesday 11th June at 10 PM in the MFT Boutique.

For my card today I have used the Doodle Garden Aloha stamp set along with the Palm Tree Die-namics and Sun Ray Die-namics.

To create my card I started by die cutting the Sun Ray Die-namics using Lemon Drop card stock … I love this die and you can use with the piece I used to create your card or the pieces that come out of this … which gives you so many options!!!!!!! I sponged all the edges using Lemon Drop ink. I attached this piece onto a piece of Sno Cone card stock. I added the centre sun piece to my background and stamped the sentiment “Aloha” using Black Licorice ink.

I used the Die-namics Snow Drifts and Natural card stock to create the sand.

For the Palm Tree I die cut the pieces using Kraft card stock; Gumdrop Green card stock and Hot Fudge card stock. I sponged the trunk using Kraft Ink and the leaves using Gumdrop Green ink.

Once all the pieces were put onto the card I mounted this onto a Sweet Tooth card base.

For the inside of my card I added one of the sentiments from the Doodle Garden Aloha stamp set using Black Licorice ink. I then over stamped this with one of the Abstract images from the Abstract Art stamp set and Lemon Drop ink.
