It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps. The new products will be available on Tuesday 11th June at 10 PM in the MFT Boutique.
For my card today I am using the LJD Blissful Butterflies stamp set and also the LJD Blissful Butterflies Die-namics set. I decided to play with the Recessed Stamping technique which was a recent tutorial by Barb Anders for the MFT Academy, you can find the tutorial here.
I used Smooth White card stock for my card. The sentiment is stamped using Black Licorice ink and I also used one of the stamps from the new Abstract Art stamp set over the sentiment using Orange Fizz ink.
The Butterflies are all stamped using Blu Raspberry ink following the directions in the tutorial.
I added a slight twist to the tutorial by adding another butterfly over the larger of the butterflies that I had recessed.
Here is the inside of my card. As you can see I added two more butterflies from the LJD Blissful Butterflies stamp set as well as a sentiment. The blobs are from the Abstract Art stamp set.
