Hello everyone,
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Kristine Reynolds our challenge hostess for February brings us another fun challenge.
Valentine's Day is in less than a week and we are sure that you still have a card or two to make so Kristine is challenging us to make a Valentine or a card for a loved one.
Our card must also have glitter on it.
The image on my card is one from Art Impressions (Tina Set) which I purchased recently on a shopping trip with my friends. I stamped the image onto card and then stamped the heart balloon onto red glitter card (we needed to add some sparkle!) As the balloon is can’t be anchored to the card as the oval panel swivels from the inside to the front of the card and is only attached to the arm by a thin piece of card, I decided to add a piece of wire and sandwich this between the red glitter balloon and the white balloon attached to the image, poking the wire through some foam tape attached to the back of the girls arms … this made the balloon more stable.
On the right panel I added a sentiment (also from this stamp set) and added two red glitter card hearts using the heart die which is included in the Oval Accordion Card die set … see Karen knew we would need a heart die!
Here is a view of my card when the card is closed.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
