Hi everyone,
I received a few of the new Elizabeth Craft Designs Embossing Folders the other day. Of course I couldn’t wait to play with the new embossing folders and some of the Shimmer Sheetz.
As soon as I saw the Bamboo embossing folder I knew I have to play with it and use it with my ECD Kimono Die.
For my card I used the Bamboo embossing folder and Ruby Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz and ran them through my Big Shot. I then used black Stazon Ink to ink up the raised areas on the shimmer sheetz and layered it to black card.
For the Kimono I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Kimono die and die cut the overlay piece from black card. I cut a piece of double sided adhesive paper and placed one side a piece of card and then used this to die cut the solid kimono. I then removed the protective backing from the solid piece and layered the overlay piece over the top and then applied some Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter over the top. I used various copics to color my Kimono.
For the sentiment in the top left corner I used the Asian Signs Peel-off Stickers. I only had this is gold so I colored mine using a black copic, but these are available in black too … think I may need to get some. And the great thing is these are on sale .
Here is the inside of my card. The lantern is also included on the Asian Signs Peel-off Stickers sheet. The sentiment is an older stamp I have in my stash.
Here are the products I used to create my card:
