Oceans of Joy

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess for the month, Maryann Einam continues to issue the challenges.

For our challenge this week Maryann has challenged us to create a Four Way Card, there is a tutorial for this over on the Splitcoast Stampers Resource Section

When I used to make these years ago we called them Quartet Cards.

For the base of my card I used the main page from the Oval Accordion Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

To decorate my card I used two of the new die sets being released later this month from the Joset Designs collection for Elizabeth Craft Designs. These are the Seahorse die and the Seaweed die sets. I also used the circles die to represent bubbles in the card.

Here is another view of my card, so that you can see the different sections of the card.

This card folds flat so it can be placed in an envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Super cool card, Frances. I am going to hop over to Splitcoast for the tutorial, but I think your photographs show the basics. Those new dies will be jumping off the shelves when your fans see this card. I know they are on my list!

What a great idea to use the accordion fold die for the card base. That way there is no question about making each panel the same -- thanks for the tip! Next time I make one of these I will definitely use that idea. I love the dangling seahorse.
