Divinity Designs - June New Release

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two projects I created using new stamps and dies from  Divinity Designs June Release.  For more inspiration using the April Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog.

My cards today feature two of the three new stamp sets being released today .... Color My World and America The Beautiful, the new Globe with Stand; Cascade Fold Card with Layers & USA Map die sets.

For my first card today, I have created a Cascading Card using the new Cascade Fold Card with Layers die set. As you can see I have went with a graduation theme for this card.

I die cut the Cascade Fold Card using red cardstock and then used papers from the Old Glory Paper Collection for all the layers.

On the very front of the card I added the globe section of the Globe & Stand die set. I stamped a sentiment from the Color My World stamp set which I stamped onto vellum and wrapped around the globe.

I die cut 9 mortar (graduation) hats and attached those to each of the concertina panels.

I die cut the "Grad" sentiment from the Grad die set and layered this to an oval from the Double Stitched Ovals die set and attached this to the back of the card.

This card folds flat so it can be placed in an envelope.

For my second card  today I used the new USA Map die set to create a card to help celebrate the 4th July.

After die cutting the map and adhering to a white card. I trimmed around the edge and then used a pencil to create the stripes and blue area like the flag of the USA.

I die cut white stars using the largest star from the USA Map die set and adhered them over the blue area of the map.

I used papers from the Patriotic Collection to create my card base.

The sentiment used on this card is from the America The Beautiful stamp set which I stamped onto a label die cut using the Double Pierced Vintage Labels die set.

For the inside of the card, I added paper strip cut from one of the papers from the Patriotic Collection and a sentiment from the America The Beautiful stamp set.
